… now everything is sophisticated, we can create images using AI machines… Well, actually it’s fine to use them to add visuals, but on the other hand, some artists feel disadvantaged because their images are taken by AI machines to produce images, which should be protected by copyright.
There are lots of Ai slops popping up on the internet, it’s a bit disturbing to look at.., and also some of the AI images are weird, bro..
(I really don’t like things called AI slop that are annoying, like… content like “Elsagate” or “ContentFarm” with excessive lighting, and then using characters that are liked by underage children)
There are pictures that look like strange anomalies, then sometimes the pictures look more horror and creepy…then there are also those with “face syndrome”, sometimes there are pictures that don’t seem to have any emotion in them…(that is, they were made with prompts), the picture looks dead, bro.
And… actually I don’t really care about people who use AI to create images for advertisements or article covers (visual additions) as long as they admit (give a label) that the image was made by AI, not self-made (original), I prefer people who are honest, and of course according to the content they want to convey.
I know… I heard a rumor that there was an artist who was caught using AI generative, but didn’t want to admit it, so it was his turn to ask for SpeedPaint, the reason was like that (because of potato tablets, that’s it, that’s it, even though his tablet was still good, I’m pretty sure he clicked on SpeedPaint straight away, it went smoothly), then when he clarified it he actually attacked the person who countered him personally, now I don’t know whether the drama is over or not (I’m too lazy to deal with it).
Well, this is an example of someone not wanting to admit and resolve/take responsibility for the problem of an AI image that he made himself… (maybe to get engagement, the video is still busy, right?
)
Hmm, my advice…if you really have a low budget or can’t draw, you can just look for stock images that are free to use. Apart from using AI, there are many who provide free images (free download) and are ready to be used by anyone.
For example… the freepik or pinterest websites, which provide lots of “free to use” images that can be used to make poster decorations, advertisements, references, etc.
There are also drawing applications like Ibispaint, even though ibispaint focuses on illustrative images, they also have images that can be used without copyright (yes… some of them are paid, but there are also good ones that are free), and many others.
And um… once again I’m not anti-AI, I also usually get lost while searching for something, I also ask AI for help to find references or something I want to look for, Soo… The use of AI depends on who uses it, AI is just a data management machine and understands algorithm patterns…
As long as the humans are not weird, AI can be a useful tool for humans to learn something or a machine that helps humans, after all AI was created to help humans, not replace humans.
To be honest… I see many people who are pro-con on this ai art problem, some agree, some don’t even hate it, and here I’m just a neutral people, because this bot machine is quite helpful but there is also a negative side to it (still a gray area).
(I also see that there are many artists who don’t accept this AI art, and I know that being an artist is certainly not easy, there are many processes, learning, practicing… and the improvement time is also different for each person. But we can’t deny it… Technology is getting more sophisticated, and we can’t avoid it.)
(Now, if we ask about a topic or article, ask AI for help, even the answer key and just vent using AI. Soo I think the anti-AI campaign is genuinely nothing..AI will continue to grow..and we don’t know how to stop it permanently, Only elite people, hahaha
..)
Regarding the use of AI generative for commercial purposes, in my opinion it is unethical and very degrading to artists, I also know about the problem of people who sell the services of “AI generative Ghibli style images”.., and in my opinion it is better not to use AI generative for commercial needs.
Maybe that’s all my opinion about AI’s picture, btw I got the idea to make this thread from the next thread which asked/gave an assessment about the AI girl’s photo (..no judging, I just got the idea from there)..and if you have other opinions, you can just post them, please criticize me if I misinterpret or say something wrong. (Usually I like to blunder)
