1. Asmodeus: When Fear of Loneliness Turns into Human Objectification

Every human being needs relationships with other people. The desire to be loved, accepted, and to have friends is a normal social need.

Problems arise when the fear of loneliness makes a person start to view other people only as tools to fulfill emotional needs or personal interests. Objectification occurs when someone is treated not as a complete person with their own dignity and will, but simply as an object to satisfy certain needs. This kind of behavior can take many forms, not just in a sexual context. For example, taking advantage of someone simply for social status, economic gain, or self-validation.

Healthy relationships are built on mutual respect, not taking advantage of each other. Overcoming feelings of loneliness is best done by building healthy friendships, developing a positive community, and strengthening the ability to enjoy time with yourself.

2. Beelzebub: When Fear of Pain Makes You Consume Excessive Medicine and Supplements

Maintaining health is a good thing. However, fear of disease sometimes makes people buy various drugs or supplements without a clear basis. In fact, drugs have certain indications and supplements are not a substitute for a nutritious diet, exercise, adequate sleep, or proper medical examination.

Anxiety about health can encourage irrational behavior if it is not accompanied by correct information. A healthier step is to adopt a healthy lifestyle, consult a health professional if necessary, and use medication as directed. A sense of security cannot be bought just through stacks of supplement bottles.

3. Mammon: When Fear of Being Poor Makes Life Only Centered on Money

The desire to earn income is a natural thing. Working hard is also an attitude that should be appreciated. However, if your whole life revolves around trying to accumulate wealth because of the fear of poverty, the balance of life can be disturbed, relationships with family are neglected, time to rest is reduced, opportunities to help others are ignored, and even one’s own health can be sacrificed.

Psychology shows that once basic needs are met, happiness is not only influenced by the amount of possessions, but also by good social relationships, meaning in life, health, and opportunities to contribute to others. Wealth is a tool, not the end goal of life.

4. Belphegor: When Fear of Facing Problems Turns into a Habit of Running

There are people who appear calm, but actually always run away from problems. Conflicts are not resolved. Responsibility is postponed. Important conversations are avoided. Tasks keep piling up.

This behavior is often considered simply lazy. In fact, some people also have a fear of facing discomfort, so postponing becomes the easiest option. Ironically, problems that are postponed almost always become bigger.

Learning to face responsibility little by little is much more effective than continuing to run away from it. Courage does not mean not being afraid. Courage means continuing to act even though fear is still there.

Social media often creates pressure for someone to follow the group’s flow. Some people join in cyber bullying, doing victim blamingagainst victims of crime, or spreading harsh comments simply because they are afraid of being seen as going against the grain. In fact, moral courage is actually seen when someone dares to refuse to take part in actions that harm other people.

Cyberbullying can have serious psychological impacts on victims. In addition, some forms of insulting or distributing certain content can also have criminal consequences according to applicable law.

Following the crowd doesn’t always mean doing the right thing.

6. Leviathan: When the Fear of Being Considered Worthless Becomes the Envy of Others

Social media makes it very easy for us to see the achievements of others. There are women who look more beautiful, richer, more successful, and more popular. If not careful, a person can continue to compare himself with others to the point of envy.

Often, the root of envy is not hatred, but rather a fear of being seen as worthless. In fact, everyone has a different life journey, opportunities and challenges.

Constantly comparing yourself will only drain energy that should be used to develop yourself. The healthiest comparison is to compare yourself today with yourself in the past.

Humans do need recognition within reasonable limits. However, when your entire self-worth depends on praise, the number of followers, or the approval of others, life becomes very fragile. A person will continue to try to prove himself to everyone. However, that is impossible. There will always be people who disagree, there will always be criticism, and there will always be rejection.

Healthy self-confidence is built from empathy, ability, integrity and life values, not solely from the applause of other people. When a person knows who he is and what his life goals are, the need for excessive validation will decrease.

Fear of loneliness can encourage someone to treat other people as objects. Fear of getting sick can make someone dependent on buying unnecessary medicines or supplements. Fear of poverty can throw life out of balance. Fear of facing problems can turn into a habit of running away. Fear of going against the flow can encourage someone to do it cyberbullying. Fear of being considered worthless can give birth to feelings of envy that continue to eat away at the heart. And fear of disapproval can keep a person in a relentless pursuit of validation.

Fear cannot always be eliminated. However, fears can be recognized, understood and managed more healthily.

A strong woman is not a woman who never feels afraid. Strong women are those who are able to face fear with wisdom, choose the right action even though it is uncomfortable, and continue to grow into a person who respects themselves and their fellow humans.
