Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Roby Heri Saputra, confirmed that there was a report of Jesslyn’s kidnapping. “Yes, that’s right, it’s still a process,” said Roby to reporters, Monday (20/7/2026).
He added that currently the police are still carrying out investigations to find the facts of the alleged kidnapping case.
“Until now, we are still carrying out investigations to find the facts,” he concluded
The kidnapping incident that happened to Jesslyn occurred on Monday (13/7) evening at around 19.45 WIB at the Saung Kita Restaurant.
Shortly before the birthday celebration started, the victim was suddenly blindfolded and immediately lifted by two large men to a black car.
The vehicle then left the location. According to witness statements, there were around five men at the location when the incident took place.
Since that incident, the victim has no longer been able to be contacted by friends or family. Apart from that, the cell phone used by the victim could not be accessed as usual.
