In this series, we will discuss habits that seem simple, and are often considered harmless, namely laziness or a passive lifestyle.
In modern times, many jobs require a person to sit for long periods of time. Shopping can be done via mobile phone, food delivered to your home, and entertainment can be enjoyed without having to move. As a result, the human body is used less and less to move.
In fact, the human body is designed to be active. Muscles, heart, blood vessels, bones and even the brain require physical activity to work optimally. When the body is in a passive state for too long, various biological functions begin to decline.
The World Health Organization (WHO) calls lack of physical activity one of the main risk factors for various chronic diseases in the world. The impact is not only on body weight, but also on brain health, digestion, sexual function, and the aging process.
For a woman who wants to be a Superwoman, keeping her body active is not an additional option, but an important part of taking care of herself.
Here are 6 ways how being lazy about moving can damage your physique.

1. Decreases Prefrontal Cortex Function
The brain is not a static organ. Brain abilities are influenced by daily habits, including physical activity. One very important part of the brain is the prefrontal cortex, which is the area that plays a role in decision making, controlling emotions, planning, the ability to be wise, and controlling impulses and anxiety.
Various studies show that physical activity can help maintain the function and structure of this part of the brain. Conversely, a lifestyle that is too passive is associated with decreased brain health and cognitive function.
When the function of the prefrontal cortex decreases, a person can experience various changes, such as difficulty thinking clearly, panicking easily, difficulty controlling fear, worry easily about health, and difficulty making rational decisions.
In some cases, a person becomes increasingly afraid of the possibility of getting sick so they start taking various medications and supplements excessively even though they are actually healthy.
Ironically, energy and money are spent buying health products, but the body is not given the things it needs most, namely movement and physical activity. In fact, regular exercise has been proven to help improve brain function, improve mood and reduce anxiety.
For a Superwoman, wisdom is not only built through reading and learning, but also through a healthy and active body.

2. Causes Chronic Fatigue
Many people think that the less you move, the fresher your body will be. The reality is just the opposite. The human body has a circulatory system that depends on muscle activity. When a person walks or exercises, muscle contractions help return blood to the heart and improve circulation.
If the body is still for too long, blood flow becomes less than optimal, oxygen delivery to the tissues decreases, distribution of nutrients becomes less efficient, so the body feels lethargic. As a result, a person can feel tired even though they have barely done any activity.
This phenomenon is often referred to as chronic fatigue deconditioningnamely a decrease in body fitness due to being inactive for too long. As a result, you wake up feeling tired in the morning, feel sleepy quickly, run out of energy easily, and have difficulty concentrating.
The more tired a person is, the lazier he is to move. The slower you move, the worse your body fitness becomes. Thus, a destructive vicious circle is formed.
Therefore, one of the best ways to increase energy is not to continue resting, but to start moving regularly.

3. Causes Sexual Dysfunction in Women
This topic is rarely discussed, but it is very important, especially for married women.
A woman’s sexual response is influenced by many factors, one of which is blood circulation. When sexual stimulation occurs, blood flow to the vulva tissue increases, including to the clitoral area and surrounding tissue.
Long-term lack of physical activity can cause blood vessel health to decline and circulation to be less than optimal. As a result, sexual arousal can decrease, sexual response becomes less than optimal, the sensation of orgasm can decrease, and sexual satisfaction decreases.
Several studies show that regular exercise is associated with better female sexual function because it helps maintain a healthy heart, blood vessels and hormonal balance.
Of course, sexual dysfunction has many causes and not all sexual problems are caused by lack of exercise. However, an active lifestyle is an important factor that can help maintain reproductive health and sexual function.

You may have had difficulty defecating after not moving for several days. This is not a coincidence. Physical activity helps increase intestinal motility, which is the natural movement of the digestive tract that pushes food and digestive waste towards the excretion process.
When the body is too passive, bowel movements slow down, stool becomes harder, so defecation becomes difficult.
Constipation that lasts a long time can cause various other problems, such as flatulence, abdominal pain, hemorrhoids, and a decrease in quality of life.
Many people try to solve this problem by simply buying laxatives. In fact, one of the simplest solutions is to increase physical activity.
Walking, rhythmic exercises, and light exercise often help improve digestive function naturally. The human body is not designed to sit for hours every day without moving.

5. Causes hair to fall out easily
Healthy hair doesn’t just depend on shampoo, serum, or cosmetics. Hair roots need oxygen, nutrients and good blood flow.
Physical activity helps improve blood circulation throughout the body, including the scalp. When a person moves too rarely, the health of blood vessels and metabolism can decrease so that the supply of nutrients to various body tissues becomes less than optimal.
Of course, hair loss has many causes, such as genetic factors, hormonal disorders, iron deficiency, stress, and certain diseases. However, a lifestyle that is too passive can be a factor that worsens hair health.
Not a few people spend a lot of money on hair care products, but forget the importance of maintaining overall body health. In fact, healthy hair is basically a reflection of a healthy body.

6. Increases the risk of early dementia
One of the biggest benefits of exercise is its effect on brain health. Physical activity helps increase blood flow to the brain, improves oxygen distribution, supports the growth of new neural connections, improves learning ability, and maintains memory function.
Various studies show that regular exercise is associated with a reduced risk of cognitive decline and dementia.
Apart from that, exercise can also increase creativity and flexibility of thinking. When the body moves, the brain works too. Conversely, a very sedentary lifestyle can lead to decreased cardiovascular fitness which ultimately affects brain health. The result is easy forgetting, difficulty concentrating, difficulty learning new things, and a decline in thinking ability can occur more quickly.
For a woman, maintaining brain health is as important as maintaining physical health. Becoming a Superwoman means maintaining the ability to think, learn and create until old age.

In the midst of technological advances, the temptation to live a practical life is increasingly greater. However, the human body still needs movement.
Lack of movement not only makes the body less fit, but can also:

2) Causes chronic fatigue

4) Causes constipation
5) Worsens hair health
6) Increases the risk of premature dementia
Being a Superwoman doesn’t mean you have to be a professional athlete or exercise at high intensity every day. Small steps such as walking, rhythmic gymnastics, climbing stairs, or light exercise on a regular basis can provide big benefits for the body.
Ultimately, health cannot be bought with just drugs, vitamins, or supplements. The body needs something much simpler but often forgotten, namely movement.
Because an active body is the basis for women who are physically, mentally, socially and spiritually strong.
