This case involved a number of former BGN officials, including former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana and two of his former deputies. They are suspected of abusing their authority in appointing partners, procuring goods, and managing the MBG program budget.
The Attorney General’s Office is also said to have discovered alleged problems in determining SPPG or MBG kitchen points, including the emergence of dozens of names suspected of being related to ordering kitchen points.
Apart from that, the procurement of 21,801 electric motorbikes worth around IDR 1.03 trillion has also been in the spotlight because it is suspected of having problems.
In the field, a number of MBG kitchens were also reported to be experiencing payment problems, with some even temporarily stopping because the funds had not yet been disbursed.
Now, the government is starting to discuss reorganizing the SPPG and a possible moratorium on new kitchens to focus on quality evaluation.
In your opinion, should the MBG program continue with strict supervision, or should it be stopped temporarily until the problem is clear?
