So the story goes that my mother is really busy drawing her eyebrows every morning. Draw a line left, right, erase, repeat — as you get older your eyebrows become thinner and less symmetrical. In the afternoon, if I got a little sweat or ablution, it would fade, I’m sorry. Taken a photo at a family event, but I missed one side. It’s a shame to see it, so I’m not confident.
I was thinking about getting my eyebrows embroidered but the result is “soap opera eyebrows” — dense, thick, stiff items that look fake from a distance. You must have imagined an eyebrow style like that.
It turns out the technique is much different now, bro. The one I came up with uses a technique called Realistic Stroke. So the pigment is planted one by one, strand by strand, following the direction of the natural eyebrow hair. The result is not a solid block of items, but smooth strands. Even when the eyebrows are combed, they stay together with the natural hair, and don’t shift. Up close, they look natural, like real eyebrows.
What I like is that the embroiderers don’t rush. Draw it first, match it to your face shape & age, then start. It is said that mature skin and facial structure are handled differently from those of young people.
The result is that now my mother wakes up with neat eyebrows. No need for a pencil every morning anymore. The face looks fresher but doesn’t look “polished”.
For those in the Tangerang / Alam Sutera / Serpong / BSD area and looking for one for your parents or yourself, my tips:
Check the original portfolio first, especially the results with clients of the same age
Make sure disposable needles & tools are sterile (don’t bargain on this)
Consult your form first, don’t just play horns
Ask about retouch, usually you need to retouch once
The place I went to: Nina Chen Alam Sutera Eyebrow Embroidery Studio (Brooklyn Tower, Tangerang). It’s been 10+ years & 7,500+ clients, he said.

Hope it helps those who are still confused looking for the correct one 🙏 The problem is that sometimes mature people like to thin first, even though it’s normal for eyebrows to thin with age.
